Orders will be processed and shipped within 1-2 business days. In store pick up orders will be processed within 24 hours for collection at our Burleigh Heads, Gold Coast studio. Please note this excludes sale periods.
Charm Bar
All Charm Bar orders are made to order, please allow up to 7 business days for your Charm Bar pieces to ship.
Pre Order
Please refer to the individual product page for the delivery time frames. To reduce our environmental impact, we aim to send all pieces in one delivery. If your order consists of In Stock and Pre Order pieces, we are happy to arrange a split shipment upon request.
Made to Order
Our Solid Gold Rings & Name Plate Necklaces are made to order, with an estimated dispatch 4 weeks from the date the order is placed.
How will my order be packaged?
All orders are packaged in a YCL signature gift box, along with a compostable postage satchel. If multiple pieces are purchased they will be packaged in a separate pouch, with just one gift box. Feel free to let us know in the notes section at checkout if you require more than one gift box for separate packaging.
The item I want is out of stock?
YCL collection releases at times are limited. Some pieces will not be restocked once sold out, if the item you are wanting is out of stock, please click the ‘email when in stock’ button on the product page. You will be notified as soon as the piece is available to purchase again.
What does pre-order mean?
Occasionally some items will be made available for sale on our website as a Pre Order. This means that the stock hasn't arrived to us yet, but we are offering it for pre sale, to allow you to secure the stock.
Pre order will be listed within the product name, along with an estimated ship date in the product description. We are unable to cancel your order once it has been placed. If you need to update the shipping address, please email us.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
We offer gift wrapping at checkout for $10.
Do you ship to PO. Boxes?
Yes we do ship to PO boxes.
How can I track my order?
Once shipped you will receive your tracking number in an email.
Will I need to pay Custom & Duties tax?
International orders may be subject to additional import taxes and duties which vary country to country. YCL is not liable for any charges you may incur. If your parcel is returned to us due to non-payment of applicable customs fees, you may be charged a restocking/reshipping fee. We are unable to process a refund of your original shipping cost. If your parcel is not returned to us, we are unable to refund your order.
What happens if the miss the delivery?
For Australian shipments, your order will be delivered to your local Australia Post office and can be collected with photographic identification.
Please note that for international shipments, once your order arrives in your country, it will be handed over to your local postal provider. It is the customer’s responsibility to track the order using the tracking number provided. Please be aware that after the transfer, you may need to use your local postal service's website—for example, USPS for US orders, Royal Mail for UK orders, Canada Post for Canadian orders, etc.
What happens if I receive the wrong item or am missing items?
Please first check all packaging in your order, including the branded pouch that may be inside the gift box. If you’ve received an incorrect item or are missing items, please email us at info@ycljewels.com with photos of what you received in your order (including all packaging), and we’ll provide further instructions on how to proceed.

Do you offer free shipping?
Yes we do, for all Australia orders over $150 AUD we offer shipping shipping. To see all free shipping thresholds, click here.
What are your shipping options?
Within Australia, we ship via Australia Post with express and standard options. International orders are shipped via Australia Post Express. To view all our shipping rates, click here.
Will I have to sign for my order?
Our parcels have Australia Post Safe Drop enabled for efficient delivery. This allows your order to be left in a safe place if deemed suitable by the delivery driver. If there is no safe place for your parcel to be left, it will be taken to your nearest Australia Post office for collection. If you would specifically like to request a signature on delivery or your parcel to be left unattended, please contact our team atinfo@ycljewels.com. For international deliveries, delivery is at the discretion of the local postal service in the destination country.
Shipping Terms & Conditions
- YCL is not responsible for addresses that are entered incorrectly, please ensure to check all entered information at checkout.
- YCL is not responsible for parcels that are lost or damaged in transit.
- YCL is not responsible for the cost of shipping on any returns.
- YCL will only reimburse shipping on a faulty item up to $25 AUD.
- YCL holds the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 20% if for some reason the order is cancelled or returned.

If you change your mind, we will gladly offer either a refund or gift card accept returns subject to return request is made within 14 days of delivery and the piece is in saleable condition, unworn with original packaging. Read our returns policy here.

Each piece is carefully quality-checked during production and before dispatch. Our warranty covers manufacturing faults and defects, including:

Permanent Jewellery Warranty
We offer a 3-month warranty on our ETERNAL Permanent Jewellery for manufacturing faults, including:
- Breaks at the weld/jump ring.
What’s not covered under warranty:
- Chain breakages or stretched/bent chains.
- Dents, scratches, peeling, or chipped surfaces.
- Discolouration or tarnishing.
- Damage from misuse, accidents, or wear and tear.
- Lost items.
- Repairs or modifications by third parties.
Important to note:
- YCL is not liable for damage caused by catching, stretching, or breaking due to wear and tear.
- If your piece has a confirmed manufacturing fault, we’ll repair it free of charge within the 3-month warranty period.
- Our technician will help you choose your ideal fit at the time of welding. Once cut, chain length cannot be extended without an additional fee.
- Changes in fit due to temperature, weight fluctuation, or natural stretching (up to 1–2 cm) are normal and not covered under warranty. Adjustments can be made for a fee through our Aftercare service.

We offer an 18-month manufacturing warranty on all YCL Solid Gold rings.

Production:
Where are YCL pieces made?
YCL pieces are handcrafted by our intimate global artisans in the United States and China, who are Responsible Jewellery Council accredited manufacturers. Every YCL piece is carved, cut, filed, and polished by hand, ensuring the highest craftsmanship.
Who designs your pieces?
All YCL pieces are designed in-house by our small design team in our Gold Coast, Australia studio.
What materials are your pieces made from?
Most of our pieces are crafted from gold vermeil (pronounced ver-may), a technique where a thick, even layer of gold is electroplated over a 925 sterling silver base. This layer is up to five times thicker than standard gold plating, ensuring a lasting golden shine, superior quality, and longevity. Charm Bar:
Are Charm Bar pieces made-to-order?
Yes! Each piece is made to order and uniquely crafted for you. Please allow up to 7 business days for your Charm Bar piece to ship. Please note during sale & peak periods there may be a delay.
How are charms attached to the chain?
Our charms are hand-welded onto your chain for a secure, seamless finish. A small silver mark may appear where your charm has been welded. This is a natural part of the hand-made process and does not affect the integrity of your jewellery.
Can I add more charms if I don’t live near the Gold Coast?
Absolutely! If you’re unable to visit us in-store, we can provide guidance on how to send your piece back for additional charms to be welded. Contact our team for details.
Can I add an extension chain?
Yes! We offer extension chains to help you achieve the perfect fit. Simply visit the product page of your chosen Charm Bar Chain, and you'll find a selection of extender chains available alongside the pendants.
What charms fit onto my chain?
Our Charm Bar charms are specially designed to fit seamlessly onto Charm Bar chains. Please note that only Charm Bar charms are compatible with these chains.

Can I purchase more SYM Pendants?
Yes you can! Once you have purchased a SYM Chain, you now have exclusive access to our secret link, where you can shop additional SYM pendants & expand your collection. Shop now >
How does the SYM Link work?
Our durable SYM Link uses a push-function open that allows you to gently press the fasting inwards and add your SYM pendants to your link. As our SYM Link is spring-loaded it will then spring close to secure your SYM pendants safely inside your SYM link.
Can I add other YCL pendants to my SYM Link?
Currently only our SYM pendants & Big Bubble Initials will fit on our SYM link.
SRLA:
Can I get free shipping on my SRLA chest?
Due to the size and weight of our SRLA chests, we currently do not offer an free shipping options. If your order includes YCL & SRLA, you will be charged a fee for SRLA's shipping.
Can I get a discount on my SRLA chest?
Our SRLA jewellery chests are made under our sister brand SRLA, please note that this is a 3rd party product & therefore has different terms:
- Not eligible for any YCL discount codes unless stated otherwise
- Not eligible for free gift with purchase unless stated otherwise
What is SRLA's shipping policy?
For all SRLA orders, we offer standard and express shipping options for all Australian orders:
- $18 standard
- $25 express
Once your items are dispatched, you will receive an email with your tracking number. Orders typically arrive within 1 to 5 business days, depending on the destination and the service selected. You can track your order using the tracking number provided in the dispatch email confirmation.
We offer express shipping for all international orders outside of Australia. Shipping costs are calculated based on the destination at checkout:
- USA $60 AUD
- NZ $40 AUD
- UK $60 AUD
- Asia $60 AUD
- Rest of world $90 AUD
Once your items are dispatched, you will receive an email with your tracking number. Orders typically arrive within 3 to 21 business days, depending on the destination. When your order reaches the destination country and clears customs, it will be handed over to your local postal provider. SRLA or YCL are not responsible for any additional charges related to international customs and import taxes, or for any delays caused by the delivery service provider. You can track your order using the tracking number provided in the dispatch email confirmation.
If your parcel is returned to sender (RTS), the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping fees required to reship the item. If you choose not to have the item reshipped, a restocking fee of $17 AUD or $39 USD will apply.
What is SRLA's return policy?
We allow returns 14 days from receiving your order for either a refund or gift card. Return shipping is at the expense of the customer. The object must arrive in original packing, undamaged. Any refund processed, once your order has been shipped, will be less the shipping fee already paid by SRLA.
How do I care for my SRLA Chest?
SRLA Jewellery chests are crafted by hand, and require some gentle care to ensure they house your most sentimental. jewels for years to come.
How to best care for your chest:
- To clean, wipe your chest down with a dry, soft polishing cloth
- Avoid any liquids on your chest
- Avoid any harsh chemicals / sprays / cleaning agents
- Avoid placing your chest on or near rough surfaces
- Keep your chest out of direct sunlight
- Avoid placing your chest in humid locations
- Use a small lint roller to clean the interior lining of your chest
- Avoid slamming your chest lid
- Avoid bending the chest lid back as this could compromise your hinge function
- The piano lacquer is delicate so avoid dropping your box
SRLA Warranty: In the odd instance where you have a defect with your SRLA Jewellery Chest, please email info@ycljewels.com. Our warranty does not cover rough handling of your chest, scratches, paint chipping, or jewellery discolouring inside the chest.
How do I care for my SRLA jewellery chest to keep my jewellery in perfect condition?
To keep your jewellery looking its best, we recommend airing your chest weekly by simply opening the lid and drawers for a few hours. This helps maintain airflow and reduces the build-up of humidity, which can affect your jewellery over time — especially in warmer or more humid climates. Our chests are designed with both beauty and function in mind, and this simple habit ensures the ideal environment for your most treasured pieces.
