Customer Service Assistant
We’re looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our team at YCL Jewellery. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about creating exceptional customer experiences and thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment. You’ll be the first point of contact for our customers, across email, social media, phone, and in-person in our showroom, so warmth, professionalism, and a love for all things customer care is key. You'll also play a vital role in the behind-the-scenes operations, from packing orders with care to supporting stock management and warehouse organisation. This is also a unique opportunity to build solid foundations in e-commerce and gain valuable exposure to how a fast-growing, heart-led brand operates day to day.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for all customer service queries via email, social media, phone, and chat
- Deliver thoughtful, solution-focused support that reflects YCL’s brand values
- Represent YCL in our Burleigh Heads showroom, offering exceptional in-person service
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision and care
- Assist in preparing and managing stock across the warehouse and online systems
- Perform regular inventory counts and track stock levels
- Support the purchasing team with stock replenishment insights
- Oversee and manage our fault and return procedures, ensuring a smooth customer experience
- Help coordinate tasks within the customer service team
- Provide support for ad hoc duties in the warehouse as required

Retail Store Manager
We’ve been searching for you. YCL Jewellery is seeking an experienced, passionate and driven Store Manager to lead our Pacific Fair Boutique. This is a rare opportunity to step into a new chapter of your career, one that challenges you to grow, expand your skillset, and join a high-performing, heart-led team. As our Store Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing every aspect of the store's performance, from driving weekly sales and team motivation to delivering an exceptional customer experience. You’ll be a key brand ambassador, bringing YCL’s values and vision to life in-store.
We’re looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, who is excited to co-create and lead within a growing fashion-tech business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead your team in alignment with YCL’s vision, purpose and values.
- Oversee all aspects of the store floor, including experience, product, community, accessibility, and team culture.
- Champion a customer-first experience, ensuring each interaction reflects our brand’s heart and intention.
- Train and develop a high-performing team, providing regular feedback, coaching and growth opportunities.
- Support the entire employee lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding through to offboarding.
- Manage weekly rosters in alignment with business needs and team wellbeing.
- Set, monitor and achieve KPIs and sales targets, while managing store budgets to maximise profitability.
- Provide regular reporting and insights to YCL HQ to inform business strategy and performance.
- Build customer loyalty and strengthen YCL’s presence by upholding our brand values in every interaction.
- Lead from the floor 5 days a week, setting the tone through hands-on leadership.
- Empower your team to lead with autonomy, integrity and customer excellence.
- Collaborate with YCL HQ and marketing to run events that drive traffic, deepen community and elevate the customer experience.
- Facilitate our ETERNAL permanent jewellery service (training provided).
Key Skills & Experience:
- 2–3 years' leadership and retail management experience
- Dynamic leadership with the ability to recruit, train, lead and develop a team
- Strong financial acumen (budgeting, forecasting, sales and profit analysis)
- An entrepreneurial spirit with a drive to deliver results and evolve with the brand
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Passion for creating exceptional customer experiences
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Tech-savvy and confident across Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to lift up to 20kg as needed
- Flexibility to work Thursday evenings, weekends and public holidays on a rotating roster
