HOW TO LAYER YOUR RINGS
Here at YCL it is not only a mission of ours to create so much more than just "jewellery" for all our #YCLWomen, but Fabienne also designs with the intention that our treasures are all able to be worn together in a divine & feminine way.
We thought we'd pass along some of our secrets to help you create a combination of relics that best suits your mood & atmosphere.
When aiming to create a cohesive yet fun & elegant layer, there are three main components that we think about: ring metal, texture and crystal colour.
MIX YOUR METALS
Mixing metals tends to be avoided sometimes, but we feel this can create a boho & unique look. At the moment we adore the simple combination of rose gold & gold to adorn our fingers.
MIX YOUR TEXTURES
We love the simple combination of our smooth surfaced Realm Ring with the textured appearance of our hammered Inca band.
MIX YOUR CRYSTALS
As I'm sure you know, our crystals bring us so much joy in daily life here at YCL. There is nothing quite like enjoying the gleam of two well suited crystals together on beautiful sunny day.
At the moment, we cant get enough of the layered effect the black onyx in our Realm ring with white topaz of our Shambalah Ring. Simple, classic & magical.
LAYER YOUR SHAPES
We love when our treasure combinations look perfectly imperfect, an example is the slightly clashing look the Shambalah Ring paired with our treasured Mahal Ring. We love creating different shapes with voids that flow with different designs.
And could we ever simply walk past the combination of our Runes and Shambalah Ring when they're present in the room?
We believe layering jewellery is an expressive art, a way to express yourself through your treasures. We hope you enjoy a few of our simple principle & playing around with your favourite YCL rings
