If you follow our Instagram you would have seen that I travelled to Hong Kong a few weeks ago (I Insta-Storied ALOT!). I went there to attend my very first trade show, where I met with some amazing people & learnt more about ethical & sustainable mining of gemstones. This is something that is very important to me, so I really value soaking up as much knowledge around this topic as I can. 

I also made the trip to HK as we are currently working on having some of our made-to-order treasures ethically manufactured. So I have been working with our offshore factories to start sampling some of our bestselling necklaces, which is really exciting. The whole production, sampling & manufacturing journey has not been easy, it's definitely exactly that, a journey. And I find for me I need to actually travel to the different countries that YCL manufactures in to truly be happy wiht the standards, quality & environment.
