Mother's Day: A Q & A with Georgie Stevenson
Mother's Day is a day to celebrate the love, dedication, and sacrifice that mothers make every day. It's a time to show gratitude for all the hard work and devotion that goes into being a mother. But it's also a time to reflect on the experience of motherhood itself: the highs, the lows, and everything in between.
In celebration of Mother's Day, we sat down with a few key women who inspire us as both Mothers and business women. Today, we speak with Georgie Stevenson, Mother to beautiful daughter Ivy and co-founder of the incredible Naked Harvest, and host of the Rise & Conquer podcast.
What's your number one mum hack?
To not worry about what other mums are doing... I love showing up for my family with what feels good to me and what works for us rather than what others think or say or do. This has helped me so much with mum guilt and just enjoying motherhood so much more.
How has your relationship with your own mother influenced the mother that you have become?
My mum is so maternal, so loving and kind. This is such a beautiful standard to bring to my relationship with my daughter but also I remind myself that my motherhood journey looks very different to hers (she was a SAHM and I am a working mum) both are equally beautiful.
If you could go back and give yourself as a new mum one piece of advice, what would you say?
RELAX! but also get into a routine asap haha my daughter was a colic newborn so I really felt so stressed most of the time, when we got her into a feed and sleep routine the colic subsided but also I wish I relaxed and enjoyed it more as it went so fast!
How do you give back to yourself daily?
my morning routine is for me, I go to the gym or go on a walk plus read a book before bed most nights, it's the little things!

How has motherhood changed how you think about your personal style?
I feel so much more confident in my style as a mum now, I've embraced my new body and love going for whatever makes me feel good!
