Layering Necklaces & Chokers 101
Why does it matter how I layer them?
Well, technically it doesn't matter how you layer them. That is part of the self expression of jewellery. However we do recommend not wearing two necklaces of similar lengths together as they will tangle easily if worn on top of each other. We design an extender chain into all of our necklaces to make layering your pieces easier, as well as giving you the option to wear your two favourite necklaces together with different lengths.

YCL necklaces are designed with an extender chain to make layering your pieces easier and giving you the option to wear your two favourite necklaces together at different lengths. This also helps to create layers and depth to your look with varying pieces.
Different styles of chokers & necklaces
YCL necklaces and chokers are designed to sit at different points of the collarbone and décolletage. We do this so that each piece can be worn with existing or other YCL pieces and to allow you to create different looks. We've illustrated our different styles below to make it easier for you to know what we mean when we talk about each piece and to visualise how you might wear them.
High Chokers: Designed to be worn high on the neck and quite tight. Can be worn slightly lower using extender chain.
