Here at YCL, we've been working hard behind the scenes to lower our footprint & create collections that work to conserve our planet's resources by avoiding the need for additional mining of Earth's materials. This is a long journey for YCL and one we are committed to long-term.
We're so excited to release our first Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) certified recycled 925 Sterling Silver collection, Recycled Letter. We wanted to commence this journey with a classic and timeless design that our community loves, initial pendants! What is recycled 925 sterling silver?
This means that silver has been separated and melted down from existing jewellery, 92.5% of pure silver is extracted and then is reused for pieces of jewellery.
This collection is available in 14k Gold Vermeil, with the base of recycled silver. The reclaimed metal used in this collection is the same high quality you are used to within YCL pieces, it's simply had a life prior to being worn by you, which we love!
